“Guide to having a fun-filling camper van holiday experience. Come with me!”

One of the popular getaway destinations during June holiday for Singaporeans has to be Australia. Sure, people go Western Australia during the dry months for the cool weather, beautiful huge places, scenic highways and memorable farm visits.

Camping, is by far one of the most process-oriented (in a good way that you get to hands-on to experience almost everything) and earthy ways to vacation. Yes, we get to connect with our family and friends, alongside exciting sightseeing. I am talking about not just the usual park camping. We had our first campervan experience! read more

A visit to Hello Kitty Town & Little Big Club and overnight stay at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour in Johor, Malaysia

“If you ask me, I would tell you that this place was comfortably… fun.”

I wasn’t too enthusiastic to visit JB town initially, but given as an assignment, I had to. And, I am going to tell you it’s a place to go, especially with young children!

Though the location wasn’t far from the Tuas second link exit, I decided to book the bus coach instead of self driving, at least I would be in a group along the way. And my plan was to return only the next day after an overnight stay at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour. read more

Looking for Fun or Food in Club Med Bintan Ria?

“Vacation is about fun & food. When food is not a good enough option, look out for fun, most out of all!”

Revisiting Club Med Bintan Ria was my wish, and I just did, after 8 years. It was done with my two children, this time. I had something to say… Yea, once lauded Club Med Bintan in my old posts (year 2008) as one of the best all-inclusive resorts that served plentiful great food, I felt the obligation to pen down the latest experience of my most recent visit there.

As a foodie alike, my emphasis was always on the food. Food? Yes, food. There were only two restaurants serving their guests now. First, the main buffet restaurant, The Waterfall, was where we had all 3 meals a day throughout the stay, it had nothing much for me to shout about. read more

Eating hotpot (or called it steamboat) in Hong Kong was commonly seen and well liked by the people, especially during cold weather. They called it 打邊爐 (in Cantonese: Da Bin Lou) in Hong Kong.

“All-time packed authentic road side stall which you shouldn’t miss, for their signature fragrant crisped bun and refreshing tomato noodle soup!”

There were so many good eating places in the area of Sheung Wan and Central (上環/ 中環), including the very famous dim sum place, Lian Xiang Lou (莲香樓). But nope, it was not about dim sum, this post featured the value-for-money local breakfast place, 勝香園/ 胜香园 (Cantonese as: Sing Heong Yun), a Hong Kong Dai Pai Dong 大排檔 (roadside stall). read more
