Family-Oriented Resort in Bali

“Fun-filled Bali Dynasty Resort in Kuta, Bali, Indonesia”

Just to share some personal photos of the resort I’ve stayed over for my week-long holiday in Bali, as promised to some readers who are interested to explore further and consider for their future stays in Bali.

Let me show you the Deluxe room which suitable for 2 -3 sharings. It’s spacious and well maintained. The wing we stayed was just completed renovation days ago. Guess we were lucky enough for enjoying the brand new room. *There are many other choices of room and suite types for bigger family/ group.

My Hotpot Dining Experience at Tao Heung (稻香超级渔港) in Hong Kong

“My first not-so-pleasant hot pot dining experience with Peir 88 of Tau Heung branch restaraunts in Hong Kong. Read this now and pick up some tips ad tricks here on how to order your hotpot meal in Hong Kong pleasantly!”

2nd day of my HK ‘return‘ trip, we had ALL-TIME-BEST Dim Sum brunch at the City Hall Maxim’s Palace (大会堂美心皇宮) located at City Hall Low Block 2nd Floor, Hong Kong. I strived to make it a sure-thing to have Dim Sum there again whenever I return for a vacation. I simply loved the Dim Sum here, especially their steaming hot, soft and flowy custard bun with fragrant salted egg yolk, still as nice as a year ago..

Signature Crisped “Piggy” Bun & Fresh Tomato Noodle Soup at 胜香园 on Sheung Wan, HK Island (香口脆脆和番茄汤面在上环胜香园大排档)

“All-time packed authentic road side store which you shouldn’t miss, for their signature fragrant crisped bun and refreshing tomato noodle soup!”

Sheung Wan and Central (上环/ 中环) have so many good eating places including the very famous Lian Xiang Lou (莲香楼), for Dim Sum breakfast, but in fact, were not really impressed by it, frankly. Today, what I am going to post is a true value-for-money local breakfast place, the Hong Kong 大排挡 (road side store) named 胜香园 (Mandarin as: Sheng Xiang Yuan; Cantonese as: Sing Heong Yun).

Sang Kee’s Fresh Fish Soup Bee Hoon at Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island (上环生记鲜鱼汤米线)

“This is one of the good meals, if healthy and light soup dish is your No.1 choice, try Sang Kee Fresh Fish Soup Bee Hoon!”

This actually was our very first meal (before having afternoon tea at The Peninsula Hotel) upon arrival, right after settling our accommodation at the nice hotel located at Tin Hau area (location next to Causeway Bay). Yes, we went to Sheung Wan area first after the check-in, not just for this recommended healthy lunch, we had several things to get from this area, too. The best soy sauce from a traditional shop nearby, and boots from a road store selling at very reasonable price as compared to many other places were on my list.

“Enjoy luxury afternoon tea in this elegant rendezvous at The Peninsula Hotel, HK (香港半岛酒店)”

Hi! Even though it has been more than 3 months since I came back from Hong Kong trip, I have not blogged anything about it yet, except that some photos were taken and posted up instantly on my FB Fan Club.

Dessert Paradise in Hong Kong (2)

With two fabulous experiences we had, as mentioned in previous post, we set off for more, just to satisfy our taste bud. Here’re the following stores:

3) Yee Shun Milk Company (义顺牛奶公司)

If you wish to have some dairy products or eggy dessert, don’t miss out the Double-steamed Milk Pudding (双皮奶) and Steamed Egg Pudding (炖蛋). The well-known dairy shop, Yee Shun Milk Company (义顺牛奶公司) sells terrific milk desserts.

Double-steamed Milk Pudding is usually served piping hot, or chilled. I preferred the warm one as it yields smoother and softer texture in the palate. It has also stronger milky taste than the chilled pudding. Moreover, hot milk pudding usually served with a layer of ‘milk skin’ which created from the “double-steaming” effect (see above). It’s a very unique mouth feel, describable. You have to really try it to know how I feel…. :)
