Healthy Fried Chicken Winglets & Cranberry Sauce (无油炸鸡翼&蔓越莓酱): Festive Feasts Made Easy with Panasonic Cooking

Using Panasonic Cooker to Make Healthy Fried Chicken Winglets & Cranberry Sauce (无油炸鸡翼&蔓越莓酱)

I am sure most of the people are looking up to celebrate this vibrant fun-filled festival, home dinner parties and scrumptious lunch gathering are starting to pack our calendars. Here I have my easy-to-prepare festive recipe (modified from Panasonic Cooking) to help you get started.

Other than getting some easy recipes on hand, useful and functional equipment is the key to having your preparation and cooking jobs done much easier and quicker.

My multi-functioning Cubie convection steam oven is one of those convenient kitchen appliances that I would recommend. Not only does it have the convection baking feature, I use it to steam, heat up food, and even do healthy frying. Yes, you do not need pot-full of oil to get your crispy food done now.

If you are new to this oven, let me guide you with this healthy fried chicken wing & cranberry sauce for the upcoming Christmas (yes Christmas is coming soon.. in just a few months !)

Healthy Fried Chicken Winglets & Cranberry Sauce (无油炸鸡翼&蔓越莓酱)
Crispy chicken wings, with its sweet savory festive sauce.

Ingredients for Healthy Fried Chicken Winglets & Cranberry Sauce (无油炸鸡翼&蔓越莓酱)

Yields 10 winglets
10 pcs chicken wings (mid-joints only)
2 eggs (beaten with fork)
1 tablespoon of paprika powder
1 teaspoon of dried parsley herbs
60g of plain flour
100g of bread crumb (Jap Panco preferred)
2 tablespoons of oil

Seasoning (B):
1 tablespoon of Thai fish sauce
1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
Pinch of salt and black pepper

Cranberry Sauce:
1 cup of frozen cranberries
1/2 cup of cranberry or orange juice
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 pc of cinnamon stick
Some orange zest
Pinch of salt

Other:
Baking paper for lining of tray

产量 10小翼
10个 鸡翅膀(仅中节)
2个 鸡蛋(用叉子打)
1汤匙 辣椒粉
1茶匙 干欧芹碎
60克 面粉
100克 面包屑(日本面包屑首选)
2汤匙 油

调料(B):
1汤匙 泰国鱼酱
1汤匙 酱青
半茶匙 糖
少许 盐和黑胡椒

蔓越莓酱:
1杯 冷冻蔓越莓
1/2杯 蔓越莓或橙汁
1汤匙 糖
1支 肉桂皮
少许 橙皮
一小撮盐

其他:
用于铺在托盘上的烘焙纸

Mess-free crispness. This is what I called, Neat Cooking.

Steps to Cook Healthy Fried Chicken Winglets & Cranberry Sauce (无油炸鸡翼&蔓越莓酱)

(1) Season chicken wings with seasoning ingredients (B), marinate for 1-2 hours.

(2) Drizzle oil into bread crumbs, mixed well.

(3) Coat chicken wings with plain flour, followed by beaten eggs. Then, coat with oiled bread crumbs evenly.

(4) Sprinkle paprika and dried herbs over coated chicken wings.

(5) Set Panasonic steam oven to mode, press to preheat.

(6) Line its steam bake tray with baking paper. Arrange chicken wings on lined baking tray, and place tray in lower rack. Set timer to 25 minutes to start cooking. Remember to flip over wings at half time to “fry” on both sides.

(7) Prepare cranberry sauce: Set to mode, press to preheat. Place cranberries, cranberry/ orange juice, zest, cinnamon stick and sugar in a bake-proof dish and onto steam bake tray. Set timer to 15 minutes to steam until soften and mushy.

(6) Remove cranberry dish from oven. Mix well with fork. Serve with oven-fried chicken wings. Voilà!

做法:
(1)用调味料(B)调味鸡翅,腌1-2小时。

(2)把面包屑撒入油中,搅拌均匀。

(3)用面粉包裹鸡翅,再沾蛋液。然后,均匀裹上油面包屑。

(4)将辣椒粉和干欧芹碎撒在鸡翅上。

(5)将Panasonic蒸烤箱设置为模式,按键预热。

(6)在蒸汽烘烤盘铺上烘培纸。把腌好的鸡翅放在烤盘上,把盘子放在较低的架子上。将计时器设置为25分钟即可开始烹饪。请记得在一半时间翻转鸡翅,以便把鸡翅双面“炸”均匀。

(7)准备蔓越莓酱:设置为模式,按预热。将蔓越莓,蔓越莓/橙汁,橙皮,肉桂皮和糖放进一个防烤的盘子,放置托盘上。设置计时器到15分钟,开始蒸,直到软化和成糊状。

(8)从烤箱中取出蔓越莓盘子。用叉子拌匀酱料。随时准备配上烤鸡翼呈桌。瞧啦!

Panasonic Cooker for Healthy Fried Chicken Winglets & Cranberry Sauce (无油炸鸡翼&蔓越莓酱)
Appreciating the fact that everyone could do a full-fledge cooking with just one compact equipment!

What I personally like it most is the steam function. I do not need to set up my pot and steam rack, or electrical steamer anymore, simply place whatever food eg frozen buns, dim sum, fish, meat, chicken, etc into my steam oven and turn on steaming function to get it heated or cooked.

[Recipe] Healthy Bitter Gourd, Apple & Pork Rib Ch [Recipe] Healthy Bitter Gourd, Apple & Pork Rib Chinese Soup (清热降火苦瓜苹果汤) 

The weather is scorching hot, and recent haze in the air, we need something good to cool our body heat, nourish lungs as well as boosting body immunity… drink this! It’s simple to cook, delicious and healthy soup. Let’s not wait anymore, anyone can cook it!

天气酷热,烟雾弥漫,不等了!喝这个…… 清凉降火,滋补润肺…… 又简单好喝。无从失败,谁都能轻松搞定煲汤!

**Serve 3-4**
**Ingredients:**
- 500g small bitter gourd
- 300g pork ribs
- 2 apples, washed and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons dried wolfberries (goji berries)
- 8 cups of water
- Salt to taste (1/2 teaspoon usually)

**供3-4人份**
**材料:**
- 500克 小苦瓜
- 300克 排骨
- 2个苹果,洗净切块
- 2汤匙 枸杞子
- 8杯 水
- 适量 盐

Having a good breakfast is the best way to kicksta Having a good breakfast is the best way to kickstart the day! Just simple #cheese scrambled egg on #buttered #toast 🧀🥪 with sides of #berries, paired with a glass of cold #milk 🥛… Enjoy this #breakfast at your own pace on a #weekend.

Here’s my best trick to make excellent fusion-style #scrambledeggs 🥚:

(1) Crack 2-3 eggs into a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of milk (any kind of your choice).
(2) ^IMPORTANT STEP: Fork a thumb-sized cold #butter, and beat the eggs with the fork (with butter) until you achieve a slight #smooth #creamy consistency. *It’s Okay if butter is not fully dissolved. Just leave it in the beaten eggs. 
(3) Heat a pan with oil over low fire, then pour in the beaten eggs. (Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese, if you want.) Allow the eggs to sit in the pan untouched for at least 15 seconds before gently scrambling them. Continue to cook until the eggs become slightly firm with some wetness remaining. 

This is a combination of English-style and American-style #scrambledegg which I prefer. Using #dairy with a result of larger and firmer curds. 😋
