My Wok Life Cooking Blog Delicious Soft Muffins from Choc N' Spice

“Nice muffins for breakfast”

Though delicious muffins are not difficult to find in SG,  only few are selling delicious with soft and fluffy texture. This popular muffin stall, Chocolat N’ Spice is one of the few, selling great soft muffins!

Their specialties are chocolate and blueberry flavors.

There are two outlets i.e. Tanjong Pagar and Shunfu Road. I always go to the Shunfu Road outlet during lunch time, and will sure join the queue if it’s not too long. I would get the muffins first evenbefore getting a proper meal for my lunch as the queue for muffins would surely get longer, especially over 12 noon.

Wide varieties are available. I liked getting blueberry or cheese muffin (~$1.30 ea) for myself, chocolate chips muffin (~$1.10 ea), banana walnut and orange peels for colleagues (~$1.10 ea). Many other flavours include double chocolate, cranberry, grated coconut, and etc. Brownies, cheesecake and apple pies are on the menu, too.

The muffin is so soft and fragrant. Taste of the muffin is never over powering for the palate. So, you will not feel sick even after chomping down the whole huge muffin. Yes, it’s yummy to eat, especially to have it warm. In fact, I think their brownie and cheese cake are delectable, too.

If I were to pack the muffins home for breakfast for the following day, I will put the muffins in the refrigerator when cooled down. Then, heat up the muffins with microwave for 30 – 40 seconds, or heat them up in oven by wrapping with aluminium foil to heat for 1 minute over 150 °C. Easy enough to return the muffins to its soft fluffy state. :)
