It’s not impossible to fix up a scrumptious and healthy sandwich breakfast without going through extensive cooking process in the busy morning. Air-fryer might be an option.
I made an egg sandwich with creamy avocado with an air fryer. Of course, some would still find it easier to do the conventional way, on the stove. Either way, this recipe works.
Many people liked avocado but ain’t too sure how to make it delicious other than making it into guacamole or blending into smoothie. Here I have one of the quickest and simplest ways, similar to guacamole but much simpler to do for breakfast meals.
“In between orange French toast and banana bread pudding, to be served with loads of fruit toppings.”
I admit I wasn’t that creative in cooking at times. As this blog of MY was meant to be a record of my home cooking so as to pass down the recipes in a digital way to my elder girl when she grows up and keen to learn cooking, I thought of just as well sharing it with all people who loved cooking, or would like to start cooking with some easy-to-follow recipes and scrumptious enough dishes. Thus, the sharing.. :D
“Soft, fluffy and aromatic butter cake, with my super easy to follow recipe.”
Suddenly felt like eating an orange cake.. No frill, simply got some fresh oranges from NTUC Fairprice to bake myself an aromatic and scrumptious orange cake. Very simple to bake, and it’s definitely a worth-trying recipe, with the freshest and simplest ingredients.
Look how fluffy and moist the orange was. Both my children loved it, especially my toddler boy who wasn’t really a cake lover, yet, he asked for a second serving right after the first.
“Anytime, any day, with these light tasted biscuits, actually.”
With the recipe’s name, you know it was for the day. Oh, sorry.. it’s just butter biscuit, actually. Since today’s Valentine’s Day which coincides with Lunar Renri (Human’s birthday in Chinese), it seemed like a big day that I had to do something.. Simple baking, but I tried to make some of my biscuits into heart shape, just for the sake of the festive. :D
Crispy on the crust, and cottony soft inside. That’s the wonder of using buttermilk in the recipe. To make cottony soft texture of a bake. Yes, that’s the trick.
Yes, you guessed correctly. It’s that in-trend butter cookie making. My copycat of “the copycat (of) Jenny bakery cookies” from a blog which I happened to chance upon one day. I have not tried the original Jenny bakery cookie yet, and had no intention to ‘challenge’ this popular bake. I just thought the recipe shared in this blog, JoyMadeThese (thank you) looked really easy to make, with just simple ingredients needed. So, I baked.
“One of my favorite pastime activities is to bake with my little one. Meaningful, loving, fulfilling, educational, and most of all, indulging.”
My 3-yo son and I baked at the noon, just in time to indulge in this super soft and fluffy sweet treat as our tea.
Oh yes, I always get a large comb of bananas which we never able to finish up before having to feed the overripe to the trash bin. How come I never thought freezing them?? This idea just came to my mind! I was simply insane for wasting how many bananas away throughout the years!! I’ve learnt and gotten myself to freeze bananas in the freezer just yesterday! Yea ~
