Valentine’s Day is always romantic. Though we hope that everyday is just as great as the festive day itself, but who doesn’t wish it to be a little more special and memorable, and simply to mark the day.
If cooking dinner is not for you, you want to be brought to romantic candle-lit dinner, don’t you? Still, wish to do something for your loved one, how about a fanciful breakfast yo kick start your romantic day?
Having to bake so many cakes Regularly, I was kinda feeling lazy. It might also be lacking of surprise element to the birthday celebration.
Making a sushi cake not only special, sushi is also our favorite food, especially with salmon as its filling. Hence, I decided to make this as a birthday surprise, at the same time, our quick and simple dinner meal. I thought this was the best simple celebration to mark this day.
Yields 8″ sushi cake
3 cups of Japanese rice (I used Calrose rice)
1 tablespoon of icing sugar
1 tablespoon of Apple vinegar
1 teaspoon of Mirin
“Simple and delicious avocado cake for a healthy afternoon.”
Avocado is definitely a superfood for all ages due to its high nutritional value. However, not everyone would accept its creamy texture and taste. I personally loved it so much that I would eat it whenever I could, but it wasn’t the case for my children. In order to make them eat, the taste of the avocado mustn’t be present in their palate. If you, too, encounter hard time getting your young ones (and even the big ones) to eat avocado, here I have a great & simple solution for you. Here you go, having the superfood disguised in my little sweet treat. Who says this is not one of the best ways for treats & “tricks”.. :D
This romantic and luscious cake that suits all occasions. I made this because my son loved strawberry and cheese. I thought the combination would make him thrilled, even on his dad’s birthday. Yes, this was the birthday cake for the dad’s, but with favourable to son’s liking. :D
Indeed, son requested 3 servings at one go, and wanted to go on, if I did not stop him. In fact, it was well-liked by everyone. Even I supposed to watch my diet, couldn’t resist and had 2 slices of it. :)
“One-bowler simple-to-make orange muffin, you don’t even need an electrical mixer for this.”
While I understood some diet watchers would try to avoid butter, but I, as a diet watcher, still pretty much in love with butter. Truly do. Also as a food/ recipe blogger, I would try my best to cater for all needs, as much as I would like to. Here’s a super-easy butterless mini muffin, quick to assemble and to be ready in minutes. So, I considered this recipe a no-frills quick fix for an impromptu tea treat, for your surprise guests and yourself.
