Cooked this for my lunch meeting yesterday. Knowing that the cakes and desserts were the “highlight” of the session, we tried to keep our main course simple. Yup, made this meatball tomato pasta as part of my contributions to the potluck meal, I was glad that many of them enjoyed it pretty well!
Really nothing fanciful, my pasta dish was just one of the many versions. Of course, with a twist to adapt the pasta cooking as my own.
Yes, pasta is one of our staples at home. We all loved pasta, of all kinds. Yet to find out the best pasta brand, I used dried pastas which were easily available in the market, most of the time. I preferred organic pasta, if given a choice.
Clams, are also my favorite seafood. I personally thought clams are versatile and easy to handle. Minimal condiments would be needed to bring out its full flavor. So, cooking pasta with clams is no weirdo to many people. It simply is a brilliant idea as the pasta would just soak up the natural taste of the clams, making every strand of noodle taste extra flavorful.

As my son loved pasta in tomato base, I thought he would like his Mac & cheese to be with tomato taste, too. Not that he doesn’t take cream based, I just wanted to try out, hoping to make his meal the most pleasant one each time, if possible.
This version of my toddler meals is slightly more elaborated, and thus, a few more ingredients and steps are needed here. However, it’s still easy to follow. The same recipe could be adopted to adult meal, too, by adding a little salt and stuff. :)

In order to assemble quick and hassle free dinner, as I had to do up my rum raisin chocolate lava cake for supper, at the same time, I decided to air-fry a pasta dish.
Of course, you may cook this recipe as my usual ‘wok’ way, I just wished to save up the stirring and monitoring time in the cooking process so that I could fix up a supper dessert concurrently. Air-frying my pasta without the need of stir frying and watching out process, I was able to assemble our dinner within 15 minutes, and accomplished the two courses, from preparing to serving, both pasta and lava cake, within a total of 25 minutes.
This is another quick-fix. No-frills. It’s not that I don’t make my own cream sauce (homemade creamy white sauce recipe), but I thought some of you were too busy making everything from scratch, yet wanting to have delicious quick fixed home meal.
Yes. Almost instantly, but don’t compromise on the taste with just an instant product. Get an instant solution instead. It was remarkably fast to prepare.

I was contacted by this talent mum, Ms Josephine Lee, who brought a range of great pasta/ rice sauces and marinades from Israel to Singapore. Ms Lee wanted me to try out these latest flash-frozen products as she read and found out from my blog that I liked to cook pasta.
