“If you ask me, I would tell you that this place was comfortably… fun.”
I wasn’t too enthusiastic to visit JB town initially, but given as an assignment, I had to. And, I am going to tell you it’s a place to go, especially with young children!
Though the location wasn’t far from the Tuas second link exit, I decided to book the bus coach instead of self driving, at least I would be in a group along the way. And my plan was to return only the next day after an overnight stay at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour.read more
“Vacation is about fun & food. When food is not a good enough option, look out for fun, most out of all!”
Revisiting Club Med Bintan Ria was my wish, and I just did, after 8 years. It was done with my two children, this time. I had something to say… Yea, once lauded Club Med Bintan in my old posts (year 2008) as one of the best all-inclusive resorts that served plentiful great food, I felt the obligation to pen down the latest experience of my most recent visit there.
As a foodie alike, my emphasis was always on the food. Food? Yes, food. There were only two restaurants serving their guests now. First, the main buffet restaurant, The Waterfall, was where we had all 3 meals a day throughout the stay, it had nothing much for me to shout about.read more
“Mac & Cheese with a small twist to suit my son’s palate.”
As my son loved pasta in tomato base, I thought he would like his Mac & cheese to be with tomato taste, too. Not that he doesn’t take cream based, I just wanted to try out, hoping to make his meal the most pleasant one each time, if possible.
This version of my toddler meals is slightly more elaborated, and thus, a few more ingredients and steps are needed here. However, it’s still easy to follow. The same recipe could be adopted to adult meal, too, by adding a little salt and stuff. :)read more
“One of my favorite pastime activities is to bake with my little one. Meaningful, loving, fulfilling, educational, and most of all, indulging.”
My 3-yo son and I baked at the noon, just in time to indulge in this super soft and fluffy sweet treat as our tea.
Oh yes, I always get a large comb of bananas which we never able to finish up before having to feed the overripe to the trash bin. How come I never thought freezing them?? This idea just came to my mind! I was simply insane for wasting how many bananas away throughout the years!! I’ve learnt and gotten myself to freeze bananas in the freezer just yesterday! “It’s not necessary to feed rice or porridge meals to your little one everyday, my all rounder homemade nuggets are great as a meal itself.”
I used air fry method as the food wouldn’t be too oily, and less heaty, to my belief.
I added turmeric powder into my nuggets, not only for liking its bright yellowish colour, I believed the health benefit of having some of these spices in our diet. It’s optimal though, if you do not like this mild Indian spice flavor.
If you are cooking this for adults, do add a pinch of salt.read more
“Quick fixing of mini sponge cup cakes with an instant sponge cake mix from Redman brand.”
When you think the birthday treats are over, it’s just coming. The great and simply recipe.
Apologize if I took too long to deliver the post. The baking was simple, just that I was too busy as usual… To an extend that I baked with a great instant mix which I chanced upon on one of my trips to Phoon Huat the other day.. Hey, hey.. Don’t condemn me. Let me elaborate a little…read more
