“Quick fixing of mini sponge cup cakes with an instant sponge cake mix from Redman brand”
When you think the birthday treats are over, it’s just coming. The great and simply recipe.
Apologize if I took too long to deliver the post. The baking was simple, just that I was too busy as usual… To an extend that I baked with a great instant mix which I chanced upon on one of my trips to Phoon Huat the other day.. Hey, hey.. Don’t condemn me. Let me elaborate a little…
“My new adaption for snacks that give the kids the crunch. A ‘cheating’ way, with the simplest ingredients.”
My girl loves Milo banana bread, if you recall my recipe posted 4 years back that she has had my Milo banana sandwich almost everyday. Yes, now that she has reduced the frequency, not by her choice though, it was me wanting her to have varieties breakfast food, and also there were times just not able to have it. Hence, to please her again, I am still using Milo powder, with cheese this time, ‘created’ this crunchy cheese version, instead. Yea, a deceiving creation. What’s changed? Just the cheese… Hahaha :D
Christmas is just around the corner! This probably what you are hearing the most recently. I believed everybody enjoys Christmas festive and its wonderful feeling of the season. What have you prepared for your Merry Christmas, then?
I am not a Christian in religion, but I do enjoy celebrating Christmas, the festive of joy….. Yes. Nothing elaborate in my celebration though. I liked the feeling of having my once-a-year signature Christmas chicken chop dish together with my family. And of course, a Christmas log cake.
“Baby has a choice to eat nice looking delicious food, too!”
I was taking nap with my son till not in time to cook his usual lunch porridge in slow cooker. There come this idea of quick fix baby lunch, in less than 15 min!
An entirely new taste over the usual Asian porridge flavor, yet healthy and suitable for baby’s appetite. I added some Italian herbs to my baby pasta. Yea, introducing Western herbs to babies may sound weird to many Asian parents, but it is one of better ways to let our little ones eat varieties, helping them to accept new taste at this very young age so that they will not turn picky eater later on.
Following my footsteps, my girl has been religiously drinking MILO since she was a little girl. In fact, she drinks MILO for almost every meal! Regardless of where we dine – coffee shop, restaurant, cafeteria, McDonald’s and even in her school canteen during recess – she will surely order herself a cup of MILO to go with her meals.
She also loves having it for breakfast (which has been made compulsory by her mum, aka me!). Yes, no skipping of breakfast is allowed in the house, and my girl is happy to have a cup of MILO to go along with whatever she is having for breakfast.

Mine, not too sweet, yet, flavorful. I liked the lightness in it.
