“Weight loss is just so simple”
“Weight loss is just so simple”
“As simple as you see. No egg yolk, no artificial flavoring. 就是看那么简单。无蛋，无人造味道。”
A healthier, less sweet dessert option. This is definitely one of the best ways to tackle the hot weather. Moreover, its making is just simple as what you can see in this recipe! Yes, just 2-step to my low-fat strawberry banana ice cream.
“Authentic and guaranteed freshness. This awesome homemade blueberry jam will definitely blow you away!”
Yes, this is. This is the easiest way to make your own fruit jam. Nothing fanciful, instead. Just for the freshness and goodness here. You might wonder why sugar if it’s healthier homemade jam. Low pectin fruits like blueberries, need it. Yes, you could either add the store bought commercial pectin from baking supplies stores, or add sugar, to preserve the jam in a more natural way. I choose the later, but all, I used towards healthier version of sugar which is the black sugar.
Chia seeds, another goodness which not only helps to thicken the jam naturally (chia seeds would swell in liquid substances), it provides healthy elements such as plant base omega 3, omega 6, dietary fiber, protein, calcium, and more. The thing is, chia seeds will never affect the taste of the blueberry jam in any way. It’s tasteless. Yes, it’s indeed a superfood!
“In between orange French toast and banana bread pudding, to be served with loads of fruit toppings.”
I admit I wasn’t that creative in cooking at times. As this blog of MY was meant to be a record of my home cooking so as to pass down the recipes in a digital way to my next gen in future. I thought of just as well sharing it with all people who loved cooking, or would like to start cooking with some easy-to-follow recipes and scrumptious enough dishes. Thus, the sharing.
Like I mentioned before, some of the dishes were adapted from recipes by other great cooks. What I usually did is to vary and simplify these nice recipes to suit my simple cooking style.. There were also those popular dine-out dishes and delicacies which we loved to eat so much, but to make sure what exactly went into the dishes, I turned them into my very own homecooked, in a healthier way and less sinful elements in it.
“Your healthy refreshing version of avocado dips!”
If you are a fan of avocado, you sure will like this version of guacamole. The sour cream honey guacamole. An option for quick snack, simple light lunch or even tea.
Yes, it’s simple, healthy, refreshing and, addictive. :)
“Birthday Cake? Yes, this surely an impressive piece to make!”
Wanted to make my usual mango cake with the packet of Optima sponge cake premix given by a friend. However, wasn’t really content with baking a cake with premix this time, also had an urge to decorate my cake with mango roses, this would make my cake top heavier than usual, I do not want my cake to collapse. Thus, here I had this idea to make a denser cake so that it could hold my elaborated decoration/ topping well. I used the premix to make my own recipe this time.
Yes, cake might be dense, but neither hard nor dry, though it’s not really the soft and fluffy kind. It was still moist enough. But at least, for sure, taste of this cake was great. Stronger flavor and more aromatic, too. And most of all, no worries of toppling cake. :)
“A soup with natural sweetness that your child would not reject.”
This soup is more for your toddler, but of course, you may cook this for yourself and the other adults, too, if you do not mind sweet tasting soup for lunch.
Healthy, balanced, natural sweetness, yet, flavorsome. Children would be able to finish whole big bowl of soup including the fish and apples as well as other ingredients in it.
“Many reasons to start eating healthy oat meal porridge”
It has been in trend to make overnight oat meal for breakfast in the female community, but I have more reasons to start having it on daily basis. I needed this healthy low-fat meal to kick start my dieting plan.
However, as many would agree, not many would eat oat porridge regularly. So many people, including myself, were having this impression that oat meal is for the weak or aging folks…. but but, let me tell you now, it’s not true!
