Baby Pasta with Homemade Organic Sauce

“Baby has a choice to eat nice looking delicious food, too!”

I was taking nap with my son till not in time to cook his usual lunch porridge in slow cooker. There come this idea of quick fix baby lunch, in less than 15 min!

An entirely new taste over the usual Asian porridge flavor, yet healthy and suitable for baby’s appetite. I added some Italian herbs to my baby pasta. Yea, introducing Western herbs to babies may sound weird to many Asian parents, but it is one of better ways to let our little ones eat varieties, helping them to accept new taste at this very young age so that they will not turn picky eater later on. “Get the best start to your day with MILO!”

Following my mum’s footstep,  I have been religiously drinking MILO since I was a little. In fact, I drink MILO almost every meal! Regardless of where we dine – coffee shop, restaurant, cafeteria, McDonald’s and even in the school canteen during recess – I would surely order herself a cup of MILO to go with my meals.

I also love having it for breakfast (which has been made compulsory by mum). Yes, no skipping of breakfast is allowed in the house, and I would be happy to have a cup of MILO to go along with whatever is having for breakfast. More

Philips Avent Combined Steamer and Blender for making yummy and nutritious baby food

=&0=&=&1=&

This 2-in-1 steamer and blender is what I always want to get for making baby food as I think it is one of the great baby food making equipments.

Besides enjoying the convenience of ‘steam, flip and blend’, all in one appliance, the main plus point of buying this is actually the benefit of retaining possibly all nutrients from the food.

Yes, steaming is probably the best cooking method for baby food as it helps to preserve the most original flavour as well as its nutrients. Oh well, you might be thinking why can’t I steam it with the usual steamer or the conventional ‘wok’ way? Of course, you can. It’s still workable and good. However, in my opinion, this steamer cum blender may be able to do a better job here. According to their introduction, this Combined Steamer and Blender actually retains more essential nutrients as the juices that are released from the food during the steaming process will be retained and mixing back into the food during the blending process, instead of evaporated through the steam releases out during the conventional steaming process. Indeed, this simplest and tastiest recipe makes the avocado much more pleasurable to eat. The add-on sweetness from my recipe elevates the original creamy and buttery taste of the avocado which goes well with plain crackers.

Yes, simply top this delicious avocado paste on the plain cracker to eat. It doesn’t really matter which time I have this, it will just make my day brighter, or simply end it on a sweet note. More
