“Remedies for (almost) instant cold relief, easily made at home. One remedy for me, and one for son.”
I wasn’t too sure, or it was just me. I noticed that the cold & flu viruses and bacteria just wouldn’t go away, everywhere. Perhaps it was my low immunity, it was the hot weather, it was due to my constant late sleep… Son’s schoolmates were taking turn to fall sick all the time, too… Both my son and I were having a cold. For me, the symptoms of body aches, nasal congestion, runny nose and sore throat were noticeable before taking the hot lemon coke (cola). I hadn’t thought of having it until 2 days later. As soon as I did, I felt an instant relief of these symptoms in me. Yes, it soothed my throat and chest as well as feeling less stuffy of my nose. It even felt dry for quite a while. It worked for me. :)
And, I wouldn’t stop telling you how great and healthy benefiting avocado is. For both the adults and children. Other than the rich vitamins and mineral it has, it’s also one of the good fats our body needs. Regular consumption of avocado benefits our brain.
I always make this for tea time or when I can’t finish the loaf of bread purchased more than 3 days (it’s harden and not so nice to eat it plain).
One could easily swipe away 4 slices of toast made with this simply-easy recipe. I could at least eat 3 slices at one go, no joke. Milk bread, honey, and berries, I considered this dish as healthy snack and good breakfast.
As for weight-watcherlike myself, snacking 2 slices of toasts with berries and 1 spoonful of maple syrup (30g) at about 300 kcal seems a little too “heavy”. So, I prefer eating only the toasts and berries without syrup. This helps me to save 90 kcal. If go with choice of light bread (low-fat), it’ll save you another 7 kcal. If just the toasts by itself counts about 183 kcal.

I tried this new creation for dinner last evening. Using of the tenderloin part, and I sliced the pork into very thin and small (about 1 cm thick, half the palm-size) pieces as my first trial, to allow quicker cooking. It really was, and so, with just about 25min of baking time, your dish would be up to serve.
However, I reckoned thicker slices for baking or grilling method, if possible. Instead of 1cm thickness, make it 2cm. Reason being, thicker slice tastes more “meaty” and juicier. Yes, my first trial told me. :)
