I admit I wasn’t that creative in cooking at times. As this blog of MY was meant to be a record of my home cooking so as to pass down the recipes in a digital way to my next gen in future. I thought of just as well sharing it with all people who loved cooking, or would like to start cooking with some easy-to-follow recipes and scrumptious enough dishes. Thus, the sharing.
Like I mentioned before, some of the dishes were adapted from recipes by other great cooks. What I usually did is to vary and simplify these nice recipes to suit my simple cooking style.. There were also those popular dine-out dishes and delicacies which we loved to eat so much, but to make sure what exactly went into the dishes, I turned them into my very own homecooked, in a healthier way and less sinful elements in it.
And, I wouldn’t stop telling you how great and healthy benefiting avocado is. For both the adults and children. Other than the rich vitamins and mineral it has, it’s also one of the good fats our body needs. Regular consumption of avocado benefits our brain.

Wanted to make my usual mango cake with the packet of Optima sponge cake premix given by a friend. However, wasn’t really content with baking a cake with premix this time, also had an urge to decorate my cake with mango roses, this would make my cake top heavier than usual, I do not want my cake to collapse. Thus, here I had this idea to make a denser cake so that it could hold my elaborated decoration/ topping well. I used the premix to make my own recipe this time.

It has been in trend to make overnight oat meal for breakfast in the female community, but I have more reasons to start having it on daily basis. I needed this healthy low-fat meal to kick start my dieting plan.
However, as many would agree, not many would eat oat porridge regularly. So many people, including myself, were having this impression that oat meal is for the weak or aging folks…. but but, let me tell you now, it’s not true!
You have so many choices of food and ways to make it interesting for your little precious, especially when My delicious breakfast for baby. Of course, for you and your loved ones, too, if you like the idea.
Very simple to assemble. Healthy to feed the whole family, certainly including your precious baby from 12 months old up. It’s steamed!
1 large egg

4-5 blueberries, slightly mashed (with fork or simply pinched with fingers)
