I tried their sweet potatoes, finally!

Yes, the sweet potatoes were sold by weight. I couldn’t remember how much per gram, but one regular-sized (length less than 5” while diameter less than 2”) sweet potato cost me $3.20.

I bought one piece each of the yellow and purple fleshes.

It tasted so good while eating it hot, but not so when it was cooled. I found the texture too-soft which became a little paste-like consistency in the palate when cooled. read more

Who says body detoxification program must farmish or eat only bland diet snack bars?

If I go on diet, I’ll take less amount, less oil and less salt food, but definately normal meals. No doubt, we have to forgo some foods such as fried food, processed snack food and alcohol. However, to go with strict liquid or apple-only meals for days isn’t my option so far.

My colleague consulted me if having no-meat diets over a period will help in weight lose and slimming purposes. My answer is YES, to a certain extent (depends on its cooking method and ingredients mixed).

Just to share my experience and personal view with you here…

I had no-meat diet, for a period of 3-month long. It indeed helps me to slim down my body, in weight controlling and gain better health.

Simple Exercise that Helps to Flatten Tummy

Do this on the floor, sofa, and even on the bed..

Bridge exercise:

Step 1) Place an exercise mat on the floor. Or, just do it on the bed before sleep.

Step 2) Begin the bridge by lying on your back with feet.

Step 3) Place a very thick book (e.g. yellow pages) on your belly button area.

Step 4) Hip distance apart and your knees bent. Rest your arms at your sides.

Step 5) Inhale, and contract your stomach muscle. Pull your hips up by tightening your gluteal muscles (muscles that form the buttock and move the thigh), until body forms a diagonal, from knees to chest. Keep your back straight at all time. read more
