Super Moist Chocolate Fudge Cake

It’s a chocolate cake. It’s a fudge cake. It’s a super moist cake. It’s heavenly rich & moist chocolate fudge cake.

I realized that I had plenty of milk chocolate bars in my kitchen pantry which were stored up for snacks over TV time, but they were just too plentiful that I had to find a way to reduce the inventory. I thought baking a chocolate cake, a milk chocolate cake, was a right idea.

Yes, this was my super moist chocolate fudge cake using confectionery milk chocolate bars to make. For the fact that milk chocolates (instead of baking dark chocolates) were used, it was ideally flavored. The richness of the chocolate was pleasant, not at all over-whelming. I wouldn’t feel repelled from having it in a big slice. More

Bringing sweet treats to Monthly Leadership Meeting in the beginning of each month has become the latest style. Yes, the sweet savoury food made by me, for the meeting!

Layer Cake (千层糕)

” Thousand Layer Cake which you can even make at home”

Layer cake is an expensive cake to purchase at bakery, especially at those renowned bakeries such as bengawan solo and etc. The layer-cake costs about $18 to $45. Actually the high price of this layer cake, not just for its taste, but also the effort of making such cake. It’s time consuming as it’s baked layer by layer.

I got the recipe from a magazine, and tried it! More

Super Moist Yellow Cake

“A near 100% successful bake for a beginner baker”

I baked a cake this evening! This was my 3rd time baking a cake. Chocolate cakes I have made for the first two times, first was typically full recipe while second baking was using cake mix. Of course, second one was more successful as it was the easiest and simplest way for a beginner baker to bake a cake without much failure (chuckling). It’s typically a 3-step baking method: Mix, beat and bake.

In order to save time, I used cake mix again, and chose “yellow” flavor this time. “Yellow”, I guess it should be original flavor… No indication of butter or vanilla used. Just called it “Yellow” on the box. It contains wheat and milk, and tastes like butter plus vanilla flavour. I supposed to get a chocolate frosting, too. However, I have forgone it as I wish to taste its original flavour as first time trial.

The cake mix used was from Betty Crocker brand, costs $3.65 per pack. My baking turned out pretty successfully, despite much lesser water was used (only 2 tablespoon of water). It was a little crispy on the surface (a cake crack shown might due to dryness or I shall shorten the baking time a little :p), but pretty tender and soft inside though. (Frankly, my cake was much denser where it supposed to be super moist, if original measurement of water [½ cup] added.) Its taste was pleasant with extra aroma. More

No Bake (Low-Fat) Yogurt Cheese Cake

“A luscious No-bake Low-Fat Yogurt Cheese Cake with Easy-Making Steps. You may try it anytime, any day!”

Yogurt is one of the staple food in my refrigerator. To eat it more interestingly, I find all sort of ways to have yogurt added to my dessert or fruits dishes.

Cheese cake is one of our favourite desserts, so far. However, those rich heavy cheese cakes are often too creamy, making me a little sick after having the entire slice… Well, this inspired me to make my own cheese cake. So, I made this cheese cake with my favourite yogurt added into it! More
