I admit I wasn’t that creative in cooking at times. As this blog of MY was meant to be a record of my home cooking so as to pass down the recipes in a digital way to my next gen in future. I thought of just as well sharing it with all people who loved cooking, or would like to start cooking with some easy-to-follow recipes and scrumptious enough dishes. Thus, the sharing.

Like I mentioned before, some of the dishes were adapted from recipes by other great cooks. What I usually did is to vary and simplify these nice recipes to suit my simple cooking style.. There were also those popular dine-out dishes and delicacies which we loved to eat so much, but to make sure what exactly went into the dishes, I turned them into my very own homecooked, in a healthier way and less sinful elements in it. A “Not-So” Valentine’s Bombs (Cheese & Garlic Butter Biscuits)

With the recipe’s name, you know it was for the day. Oh, sorry.. it’s just butter biscuit, actually. Since today’s Valentine’s Day which coincides with Lunar Renri (Human’s birthday in Chinese), it seemed like a big day that I had to do something.. Simple baking, but I tried to make some of my biscuits into heart shape, just for the sake of the festive. :D

Baked Orange Peel Cheesecake

Jacket Potatoes

Actually this was just my usual jacket potato where potato was baked and filled with cheese, sour cream and bacon bits. I called it the Christmas Eve Jacket Potato simple due to my strict yearly cooking of this as part of the set dinner only on the Christmas Eve.

I think I already had a similar post on Jacket Potato a while ago, but it’s ok. Here’s the revised version with different combination of toppings, anyway. Starting from Jacket Potato, I would post the revised recipe for the other two dishes in due. :) More
