Children Season’s Holiday Programmes by Singapore National Museum

June (school) holiday is approaching!

If you are still racking your brain on which good places to bring your children to, for some fun and valuable visits throughout the 1-month break from school, I have some ideas here.

Go pay a visit at the Singapore National Museum, not so much on touring the museum, but to attend some children themed holiday programmes organised by the authority. And, there were free seminars on parenting, while the children could have some drawing sessions just located outside the seminar hall. read more

First heard of this newest spot was from my friend, and then was broacasted in the TV news, featuring new reservoir, the bridge where visitors may have a stroll, and big green patch where visitors may enjoy a picnic there. A FOC place for the residents!

NATAS Travel Fair 2008 in Singapore Expo

“An annual NATAS Travel Fair which never missed by Singapore residents.”

I went to SG Expo this afternoon, for the NATAS (The National Association of Travel Agents Singapore) Travel Fair exhibition. It was the last day of NATAS Fair, and wanted to check out the best deal for my vacation planning. This was my second time to NATAS Fair. It used to be located at Suntec City, but changed to Expo, perhaps to cater for bigger crowd.

Hit the place with a hope for minimal crowd or entry queue, but gosh! Oh no… The chaos scene was just exactly like what the news had shown last evening! A snake line of queue to buy admission tickets! Yes, it was not free admission, and yet all desperate visitors were eagle to check out the best travel deals there, like me. read more

New Concepts in Singapore Mathematic for Lower Primary Students

“New Concepts, New Habit in Singapore Mathematics for lower Primary students and Parents’ attitude”

I am back! Back? Yes, back from an educational workshop on helping our children to handle Mathematic and Exam conducted this afternoon, at Queenstown Library.

Mathematics subject. Singapore Mathematics is well-knowingly advance, in another word, it is tough. Parents would try their best to send them to tuition centre, despite full day studies in the school. Parents would also try to teach them at home, buy more assessment books for them to practice. read more

Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden at Botanic Gardens

“$7m green space meant to give the youngs an insight into natural world”

Isn’t sure where to go with the children over the weekends? That’s this great park that would speak for itself.

Sharing a post on the Asia’s first garden for children was part of my assignment. Yes, this great place opens just around your neighborhood here in Singapore!

This newly opened Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden at the Botanic Gardens (at the Bukit Timah core) in Singapore was a great place to nurture a child on appreciation to the nature. For the active ones, this certainly was a place with extensively large space for them to deplete their energy in a positive way. read more
