Is Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences Malacca for you?

“Hotel stay here, good or bad for your vacation stay?”

In case you wish to know which hotel we stayed in Malacca, here’s the pretty new Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences, we did.

The interior of the hotel as well as its rooms was elegant, spacious and looked classy, with a reasonable room rate offered. There is also a large balcony in each guest room, for a view or breeze.

Bed was comfortable, and there is a 2-seater sofa as well as ‘see-through’ bath provided in the room. Not all guest rooms come with straight sofa seats, my parents’ room had the curvy seats which are unfit to lay flat down overnight. The hotel provides extra bedding at a reasonable rate, if third guest requires it. However, it’s really not necessary to pay for an extra bed for your young toddler who usually co-sleeps with you, even though the hotel booking websites stated so, as one of their terms & conditions.

McDonald’s opens its kitchen doors to all

“It’s never hard to imagine how little (or zero) margin they are prepared to compromise on their food hygiene, quality, and most of all, the customer service to the patrons of McDonald’s…”

Like what my header says, it’s now a great chance for you to discover the truth behind your favourite food at their Open Doors Event which happens every 3rd Sunday of the month, all the way till 19 Feb 2012.

This is not an advertorial ie I don’t get paid to promote this activity. It’s merely my interest to share this piece of information with you guys since I have attended one. It’s eye opening, it’s exclusive, and it’s informative!

Overnight Camping & Visit in Jurong Bird Park Singapore

“Sleeping with the Flamingos”

Hey! I told you that I went for a sleepover camp at Jurong Bird Park on one of the Fridays in December. Yes, pitching of tents for a night inside the park. However, don’t assume that it will surely an outdoor camping. Sad to say, it was not! We camped IN a air-conditioned function room by the flamingo lake. That’s the camping experience for our precious Singapore children! Wahaha..

Actually, I personally find it not a bad idea with an indoor camping as there will be no mosquito bite, need not to feel hot in the sleep.. All we had is cooling air in the tent in that ‘snory night’..

Family-Oriented Resort in Bali

“Fun-filled Bali Dynasty Resort in Kuta, Bali, Indonesia”

Just to share some photos of the resort I had stayed over for my week-long holiday in Bali, as promised to some readers who were interested to explore further for their future stays in Bali.

Let me show you the Deluxe room which suitable for 2 -3 sharings. It was spacious and well maintained. Not every room in the hotel, but this particular room assigned to us was one of those newly refreshed. Lucky enough….. ><
*There were other choices of room and suite types to cater for bigger family/ group.

Rainforest Kidzworld at Singapore Zoo

“New Opening of Rainforest Kidzworld and Boat Ride in Singapore Zoo.”

As a form of celebration with the nation, I decided to pay a visit to the Zoo in morning, and get home by afternoon so that I would be in time to watch the live National Day Parade on TV. We had our good friend & her family to join me, too.

To visit Singapore Zoo, it wasn’t just about the animal exhibits anymore. Another more thrilling reason to make a return visit, was to bring the little one to this newly revamped kids wet playground as well as the new boat ride!

Children Season’s Holiday Programmes by Singapore National Museum

June (school) holiday is approaching!

If you are still racking your brain on which good places to bring your children to, for some fun and valuable visits throughout the 1-month break from school, I have some ideas here.

Go pay a visit at the Singapore National Museum, not so much on touring the museum, but to attend some children themed holiday programmes organised by the authority. And, there were free seminars on parenting, while the children could have some drawing sessions just located outside the seminar hall.
