I posted my new creation for Spicy Pork wrap (See Recipe) dinner just couple of days ago, my children and hubby had been asking for it, again… However, I decided not to make that again so soon, because I had more wrap recipes which I was so keen to try out! Here’s one of them…..
Yes, if you are very keen to try out the wraps, but wondered how to fix more than a meal with it, just to let you know that Mission Foods are now having a great promotion on giving away free recipe booklet with every purchase of two packages of wraps. With this recipe booklet by Adam Liaw, it was easy to finish using up my wraps, even by a small family like mine.
“Delicious and wholesome lunch with healthy multi-grain wrap.”
Wrap meals often remind me of Mexico food, but I would prefer having the wrap with an Asian flavor closer to my palate at times, if I were to make one at home. For this reason, I chose to make my wrap in my Asian inspired recipe. Yes, with curry, pork… Already having my dry curry pork recipe which cooked to more an Indian cuisine (See recipe here), the curry pork cooking has now been simplified, for the wrap creation. Call it Asian-fusion recipe here, it’s mixed to a western flavor, instead.:)
“It’s just the abalone sauce you need in your stir fry!”
In order to fully appreciate the freshest taste and natural sweetness Of the fresh pea sprouts as well as the highly nutritious mushrooms, minimal use of condiment to taste is more than just required. I needed only the abalone sauce in my recipe.
If you are a vegetarian, use the mushroom sauce. Otherwise, the Abalone sauce is the best to go with this stir fry! That’s because the golden spring mushroom (金源菇) used in this recipe yields a tinge of ‘seafood’ taste after cooked. Hence, adding abalone sauce was sure to good in enhancing the flavor of this seafood-tasted mushroom in the dish.

First of all, thank you to Natalie who nominated My Wok Life in the Blog Awards 2015 Best Food Blog Category!
Me among the nominees :)
The Singapore Blog Awards, organised by Singapore’s leading bilingual news and entertainment portal, omy.sg, first wrote to notify me about the nomination, and this came as a pleasant surprise to me when I first read it.
Natalie thinks My Wok Life has a X-factor to be the best food blog. I hope all of you agree, too! :D
