With the recipe’s name, you know it was for the day. Oh, sorry.. it’s just butter biscuit, actually. Since today’s Valentine’s Day which coincides with Lunar Renri (Human’s birthday in Chinese), it seemed like a big day that I had to do something.. Simple baking, but I tried to make some of my biscuits into heart shape, just for the sake of the festive. :D

This is the same steamed fish you always get to taste when attending wedding Chinese banquet dinner. Some called it Hong Kong Style, whilst others called this steamed in light soy sauce… There were even more names in Chinese menus.. Whatever name to be called as desired, I knew this would be so well liked by anyone, both the adults and children. :)

Yes, having wings at your reunion dinner is to symbolize flying together, wing to wing like a pair of bird… Walking hand in hand with your loved one… Sweet. :)
6 pcs of large 3-joint chicken wings
1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
2 tablespoons of Chinese braised sauce (or some brands called it Chinese Marinade sauce. In Chinese: 卤水汁), store-bought
1-2 tablespoons of XO sauce
1 tablespoon of Chu Hou paste (柱候酱)

This snack could be made in various ways and flavors. No doubt, those added with seasonings taste better, at the same time, less healthy.
