Moist and fluffy Banana Sponge Cake

One of my favorite pastime activities is to bake with my little one. Meaningful, loving, fulfilling, educational, and most of all, indulging.

My 3-yo son and I baked at the noon, just in time to indulge in this super soft and fluffy sweet treat as our tea.

Oh yes, I always get a large comb of bananas which we never able to finish up before having to feed the overripe to the trash bin. How come I never thought freezing them?? This idea just came to my mind! I was simply insane for wasting how many bananas away throughout the years!! I’ve learnt and gotten myself to freeze bananas in the freezer just yesterday! Yea ~ More

Chow Mien (Stir Fried Chinese Yellow Noodle 炒面) for Toddler

“Get a child to get oyster mushrooms in this simple vegetarian Chow Mien? How about having it better by adding the super food, Quinoa, as well as liquid aminos, into his meals?”

My son loves the Chinese yellow noodle (Chinese alkaline noodle), usually being prepared in soup as fish balls noodle soup selling at most of the hawker centers, food courts and coffee shops in Singapore and other parts of Asia.

This thin yellow noodle would also commonly be cooked in fried noodle (Chinese Chow Mien) or the Mee Goreng (Indian fried noodle) style which easily found selling outside. Having that said, these fried noodles selling at the stores are usually over seasoned or spicy. More

(Air-Fried) Chicken Veggie Nuggets (for Toddlers)

“It’s not necessary to feed rice or porridge meals to your little one everyday, my all rounder homemade nuggets are great as a meal itself.”

I used air fry method as the food wouldn’t be too oily, and less heaty, to my belief.

I added turmeric powder into my nuggets, not only for liking its bright yellowish colour, I believed the health benefit of having some of these spices in our diet. It’s optimal though, if you do not like this mild Indian spice flavor. More

Double-Boiled Red Apple & Mixed Veggie with Cod Fish Bone Soup

“Cook simple and nutritious soup lunch with whatever ingredients left in refrigerator.”

This colorful soup meal was meant for children’s diet. It was cooked spontaneously with whatever ingredients I could find in the refrigerator. When I bought the whole fish tail portion, the fishmonger helped to debone and divide into smaller portions. The fish bones were what left in the nod, and I wouldn’t throw them away, but to add into the soup cooking for its flavor and good fish oil in the soup. Of course, you are welcome to use fish fillet as well.

Kidney beans are another good ingredient to add natural sweetness and flavor in the soup. It makes the soup taste a little bit like the red bean dessert which usually likable by young children. More

Apple Salmon Soup

“A soup with natural sweetness that your child would not reject.”

This soup is more for your toddler, but of course, you may cook this for yourself and the other adults, too, if you do not mind sweet tasting soup for lunch.

Healthy, balanced, natural sweetness, yet, flavorsome. Children would be able to finish whole big bowl of soup including the fish and apples as well as other ingredients in it. More
